Burger Steak with Mushroom Sauce
This meal is designed to satisfy the biggest of appetites with its hearty goodness and rich flavours. Plus, it’s extra creamy with its two types of cheese.

Ingredients
- 500 gm mixed beef and pork mince
- Happy Valley Burger Slice cheese
- Happy Valley Mozzarella cheese
- 1/2 brown onion, diced
- 1 egg yolk
- 1 tsp salt
- 1/2 tsp white pepper and pinch of black pepper
- 60 gm breadcrumbs
- 2 tbs oil
- 150 gm of mushroom
- 2 tbs salted butter
- 4 tbs tomato sauce
- 1 tbs barbecue sauce
- Salad mix and fried egg (optional)
Directions
- Mix mincemeat, brown onion, egg yolk, salt, white pepper, black pepper, and breadcrumbs in one bowl. Divide into 2 patties.
- Push Happy Valley Mozzarella cheese into the centre of each patty, then bring the meat around the cheese to cover.
- Pour oil in a pan, add the patties, cook for 5 minutes on medium heat, flip them, and cook the other side for 5 minutes.
- Pour some water into the pan, cover with lid, wait for another 4-5 minutes or until meat thoroughly cooked.
- In separate pan, add butter, mushroom, tomato sauce, and barbecue sauce, mix evenly.
- Transfer the burger patties to a plate, add Happy Valley Burger Slice cheese on top.
- Serve with the mushroom sauce, fried egg, and your favourite salad.
